This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy, Ravelry, Lovecrochet, Spoonflower, Redbubble, Society6, Inktale, Amazon, Spreadshirt, Paypal or any third party services you access through these websites.
TL;DR :
This website is both cookie and ad free. I’m not spying on you.
– If you contact me : I will only use the personal data you gave me to answer you and if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim.
– If you subscribe to my newsletter : I will only use your email address to send you the monthly newsletter. I’ll keep your email for 3 years.
– If you purchase something directly from me : I will use the personal data you gave me to : thank you, fulfill your order, provide customer support if needed and if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim.
– If you purchase one of my designs via a print on demand website : I may not have access to any of your data. But if I can, I will : thank you and provide customer support if needed.
I don’t keep a customer record but I have to keep invoices for a period of 10 years. They’re not stored on a cloud.

When you sign up to my mailing list :
You provide me with your email address.
I will only use it to send you monthly newsletters… when I’ll find the energy to do so. ^^
When you contact me via a form :
You provide me with your email address and additional personal information (for a custom order, for example)
I will only use them to answer you and if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim.

When you purchase a digital pattern :
I will have access to your first and last names (if that’s what you’ve chosen for a pseudonym), your pseudonym, your city, your country and your email address.
This data is stored on Etsy’s website under their Privacy Policy and I keep the emails I get each time there’s a purchase.
The French law forces me to keep invoices for 10 years.
I will use your data to provide customer support and if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim.
When you purchase a physical object or ask for a customization :
I will have access to your first and last names, your pseudonym, your address, your country, your email address and additional personal information if it’s a custom order.
This data is stored on Etsy’s website under their Privacy Policy and I keep the emails I get each time there’s a purchase.
The French law forces me to keep invoices for 10 years.
I will use your data to fulfill your order (I will have to share your name and address with the post office obviously), provide customer support and if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim.

When you purchase a crochet pattern, I have access to : your first and last names, your pseudonym, your country, your email address and your paypal address. If it’s a gift for another Ravelry user, I will also have access to their pseudonym.
This data is stored on Ravelry’s website under their Privacy Policy and I keep the emails I get each time there’s a purchase.
The French law forces me to keep invoices for 10 years.

I don’t have access to your personal data when you purchase one of my digital patterns on Love Crochet,
Via Spoonflower
When you make a purchase / contact me on Spoonflower, I only have access to your pseudonym.
This data is stored on Spoonflower’s website under their Privacy Policy.
I will send you an automated thank you message.
Via Redbubble
When you purchase products printed with my designs on Redbubble, I only have access to the destination country.
I have no use for this information but I will probably say to myself “Oh someone from ****** as bough something from me ! That’s so cool !”
Via Society6
I don’t have access to your personal data when you purchase products printed with my designs via Society6.
Via Inktale
I haven’t sold anything on Inktale yet.
Via Amazon.com
I haven’t sold anything on amazon.com yet.
Via Spreadshirt
I don’t have access to your personal data when you purchase products printed with my designs via Spreadshirt.
Via Paypal
If you pay me via Paypal, I have access to your first and last names and your email address.
I don’t personally use this data… it’s all automated anyway. But I might need it “if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim”.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
• Etsy | Ravelry.
I share information with Etsy | Ravelry as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy | Ravelry Terms of Use.
• Service providers.
I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as the French post office “La Poste”. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
• Compliance with laws.
I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to:
(a) respond to legal process or to government requests;
(b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies;
(c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or
(d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.
Data Retention
I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period:
– the data found on the invoices : 10 years
– the email addresses in my mailing list : until you unsubscribe from the newsletter
