Tiny mittens ornaments – Free crochet pattern
How to crochet tiny mittens ornaments.
Inspired by one of Spoonflower’s contest : we had to create a gift wrap design with tiny mittens. I didn’t find any ideas for the contest but realized tiny crocheted mittens could make a cute garland for my Holiday tree.
You can also use them as pen toppers or turn them into earrings.
Size : One mitten is around 2 cm x 3 cm. (0.78″ x 1.18″)
Round 1 : Make a magic ring : work 6 sc in the ring, pm — (6 sts)
Round 2 : [2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts] 2 times, pm — (8 sts)
Rounds 3-5 : sc in each st around, pm — (8 sts)
Round 6 : Make the thumb : ch 5, skip 1 st, sc in next 4 ch, back on the mitten sc in each st around, pm — (8 sts)
Rounds 7-9 : sc in each st around — (8 sts)
Finish with a sl st.
Weave in the ends and embroider as you wish.
You’re done ! ♥
